Jig Saw Hardware Teardown

Today, we’re peeking inside the Black & Decker JS515 Jig Saw to see how it’s made. Scott is on deck to tear this tool down. During this hardware teardown, Scott investigates all of the parts and estimates costs.

Black & Decker makes an impressive product for less than $30! Costs are most likely kept low due to the minimized part count and injection molding. Additionally, the mechanics for the motor are sophisticated for a low-priced consumer product.

We walk you through all of this on the Dragon Innovation YouTube channel or you can watch the video below!

You can purchase this Black & Decker Jig Saw on Amazon!

We want to hear what YOU want us to teardown. Leave a comment down below with what we should break, I mean … take apart gently. You can also like and subscribe if you want to see more Hardware Teardowns.
